Photographer Tri Nguyen, is a talented individual that is full of originality. Besides his amazing photos, he also expresses herself through her style. While black in certainly her choice of color, his outfits are anything but plain and boring. His style is chic, minimal and fierce! So of course, we just had to find out where his style derives from. Being yourself is the key. Wear the clothes that captures your personality. Express the style that is true to you.

I’m a huge fan of incorporating new styles into my own. It opens my mind to new ways of styling my wardrobe. It’s a brilliant way to look new and different while retaining your identity.
Who do you consider the icons in the fashion & design industry?
Yohji Yamamoto, Margaret Zhang, Rick Owens and Olivier Rousteing. From their fashion, style and work, they’ve each been my pillars of inspiration.
What style/fashion accessory is your favorite?
Oh, I don’t go anywhere without my black rings!
If you can/could consider yourself an expert in one area of style/fashion, what would it be?
Styling someone in black and drapes would be my calling.
